Flower exhibition at LalBagh Botanical Garden, Bangalore

Lalbagh Botanical Garden organizes flower shows to celebrate Independence Day on Aug. 15 and Republic Day on Jan. 26 every year. The shows, which are jointly organized by the state Horticulture Department and Mysore Horticulture Society, are among the most popular events in the Garden City. The exhibition spreads across the garden, and its main attractions are inside the glass house. A vertical, five-meter-high garden with more than 5,000 plants and a four-meter-long floral boat full of roses were two of the highlights of the flower show this year.
