Indian media have blown ‘racist’ attacks out of proportion

Ever since the beginning of the new millennium, a decade ago, the economic progress of the Indian people and the demand for quality education has led to an increase in the number of Indian students who aspire to study abroad. However the racism faced by Indian students abroad has sparked concern in Indian society and made parents think twice before sending their children abroad.

Indian media too ready to jump to conclusions

Just like every Muslim is not a terrorist, every Indian murder that happens abroad is not a result of a racial attack.

Are students any safer in India?

The issue of the safety of Indian students abroad has caught the imagination of many in India who now think twice before sending their children abroad to study. The name often given to this is “racism,” which is a very dangerous term to use.

Another racist crime? Not likely
